Image Recognition Helps Sales Teams Achieve Perfect Store Goals with StayinFront’s TouchCG® 12.39 Release

Fairfield, NJ (January 8, 2025) – StayinFront, Inc., the global leader of mobile cloud-based retail optimization solutions, announced the latest release of its best-in-class retail execution and selling tool, StayinFront TouchCG® version 12.39. The new release introduces On Device Neural Network (ODNN) for advanced digital Image Recognition (IR) capabilities and even more ways to drive growth on the platform.

TouchCG® 12.39 integrates the innovative On Device Neural Network (ODNN), StayinFront’s on-device digital Image Recognition interface, into the standard interface for all users. Processing images directly on the sales associate’s device eliminates the time required to send pictures to the server. ODNN helps sales teams boost productivity and changes how Image Recognition will be used in the future in retail execution.

With ODNN, sales teams can easily incorporate IR into their retail execution routines, enhancing in-store efficiency. To use ODNN, select the display and take a photo of it. It only takes a few seconds to analyze the image and show the results to the sales associate.

Sam Barclay, Chief Growth Officer, commented, “On-device Image Recognition is a game changer for digital Image Recognition. Processing images on a device reduces the time to results from minutes to seconds.” He continued, “On-device IR also changes the commercial model, making Image Recognition a feature of our Retail Optimization Platform rather than an expensive stand-alone application. This is welcome news for our customers in the current constrained environment.”

The AI-Enabled Field Sales Force: Pitch

The Pitch stage industrializes what good representatives do instinctively. The platform creates a custom pitch for that store buyer, for that moment in time, provides options rather than a single script, tracks the usage of the pitch through breadcrumbs so it can be analyzed later, and automates the administrative process of turning a sales pitch into an order.

The AI-Enabled Field Sales Force: Coach

Somewhere in the system there are dozens of exception rules firing daily into a representative’s task list. They flag out-of-stocks, price gaps, compliance failures and distribution voids. The rules work. The alerts are accurate. Even so, adoption is somewhere south of forty percent, because the representative opens the list, sees eighteen items, has time for four, and has no principled way to choose.
